Ever wanted to edit and convert your recording right from your couch? Now you can! TV Toolbox is the youngest member in our gang. It allows you to edit recordings, convert recordings and define rules to automatically convert just recorded TV shows to a specific format.
For users who have DVB / HD content: If you plan to use the conversion profiles WMV, Zune, Pocket PC - you need to install CyberLinks PowerDVD 7 (Download). We're working on a solution for this issue.

Main Page
If you start TV Toolbox you get your recorded TV shows listed where you can select the recording you want to edit.
Editing
You know what you want! When editing a recording you’re defining those segments of you recording you want to be included in you resulting file. Use your remote control or the Media Center transport controls (Play, Pause, etc.) to navigate – like you do when watching a show. Select “Done” if you have all necessary parts of your recording in the storyboard on the bottom.
Job Details
On this screen you can set additional details. You can edit the Title or select if you want for new file to be converted.
The Queue
TV Toolbox supports submitting more than job. Jobs are processed in an external process while you’re using your Media Center. You can submit new jobs while TV Toolbox is processing your submitted job(s).
Settings
TV Toolbox has a few settings you can set, of course you can select between 3 language: English, German and French. Also you can select a default conversion. If you convert the most of your recordings to a Zune compatible WMV – you can set the Zune conversion profile as your default conversion. While there are different color encoding systems in use, you can choose between NTSC and PAL.
Rules
TV Toolbox allows you to create rules. Using rules you can automatically convert new recordings with a specific converter. E.g. you can convert TV shows you’re always watching in the train for your Zune player.
Defining a rule is pretty easy. You select “New Rule” and set the keyword the TV Toolbox should take care of, give it a title and set the conversion profile and you’re ready to go. TV Toolbox will autotaically convert your shows as soon as the Media Center recorded the show.
